To the great frustration of pretty much everyone, everywhere… showers can get moldy. Windows in the shower wall make matters worse. Throw in a hot and humid climate like I have in Florida, and you’ve got a mold trifecta brewing.
That’s the situation I deal with in this video.
I used an awesome product called Concrobium Mold Stain Eraser.
Concrobium contacted me a few months ago to see if I wanted to give their mold related products a try. I’m glad I did because everything they sent me has worked like a champ.
In this video, I used the Mold Stain Eraser product which can be mixed up in small or large quantities depending on the job at hand. It can be sprayed on with a pump sprayer, a small handheld spray bottle, or just applied with a sponge. It’s kind of crazy the way the mold stains really do “erase” from the grout in this video.
Check it out and see.
If you prefer the non-video version, here are a few pictures of the process:

The problem… yukky mold stains on the grout, especially near the window

The solution… mix up a small amount of Concrobium Mold Stain Eraser. Easy to mix in whatever amount you need.

Once the Concrobium is ready, it was an easy matter of wiping away the mold stains from the grout.
This is the second time Concrobium products have saved me from replacing something before its time. I really thought this shower tile was pretty much, like way, past due for replacement. But I’d been procrastinating on it. After cleaning the grout with Concrobium, I’m thinking I’ve got more pressing issues and this tile is going to be just fine for a little while longer.
The same thing happened when I used the Mold Stain Eraser and Concrobium House & Deck Wash on my wood deck. I thought the deck was toast, but after I cleaned it with the Concrobium, I felt like I could easily get quite a few more years from the boards before needing to replace them. That’s equal to big savings if you can add years to the life of a wood deck. That video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVo7u…
Disclosure: The makers of Concrobium pay to advertise on RemodelingGuy.net, but that doesn’t change the results I achieved using the products. I would normally say “the opinions are all mine” but in this case I’m not really offering any opinions, I’m just showing you what my results were when I used these products. In my case, the results were great.
